  • Summer Food Service 2021 Curbside Site List

    Thanks to the USDA Summer Food Service Program for Children, the Peoria Unified School District will provide breakfast and lunch curbside free to any child this summer, age 18 and under. Lunch and breakfast will be served at 12 school sites and a snack and dinner will be available at the Peoria Community Center. Meals are available for curbside pick-up by car, or walk-up. Children must be present, or student identification must be presented. Children do not have to be enrolled in the Peoria Unified School District to participate.

  • Peoria Unified Receives Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting

    The Peoria Unified School District was recently awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE) from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International. The Certificate of Excellence demonstrates Peoria Unified’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and financial reporting.

  • Peoria Unified Graduates Secure Record Amount in Scholarships

    The Peoria Unified School District’s graduating class of 2021 acquired over $72 million in scholarships to post-secondary institutions, making this a record year for scholarship recipients. This amount includes scholarships for vocational schools, in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities, merit-based recognitions, private donor and athletic scholarships. Liberty High School celebrates a record year with their graduates securing close to $16 million in scholarship monies.

    Congratulations Class of 2021! We are so pleased to honor our graduates in person this year at State Farm Stadium. We know this event is a milestone for our seniors and are so proud of them. Details about schedules for each ceremony and streaming information are available.

  • 2021 Virtual Arts & Cultural Festival

    Each Spring Arts Education in Peoria Unified celebrates the Arts with the Annual Arts & Cultural Festival and although this year’s Festival may look and feel a little different, there is still much to celebrate regarding the Arts in Peoria! Starting May 8th, each day of the virtual 2021 Peoria Arts and Cultural Festival will highlight one high school and their feeder schools.

  • Mask Update

    Peoria Unified is making changes to our COVID-19 procedures to continue to move towards our pre-coronavirus campus operations. Beginning on Monday, May 24, facial masks will be optional inside and outside on all school campuses and district facilities for students, staff and visitors.

    Kindergarten enrollment is under way and serves as the foundation for a child's future. We offer free, full-day kindergarten in a rigorous, engaging, safe and nurturing environment with highly qualified teachers to help your child be successful throughout their educational journey.

    The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced the extension of free breakfast and lunches through June 2022.
