• eCampus is pleased to partner with Glendale Community College (GCC) and Grand Canyon University (GCU) to provide online dual enrollment courses to Peoria Unified students.  The dual enrollment courses are:

    Glendale Community College

    High School Course:  College Mathematics
    GCC Course Prefix:  MAT142
    GCC Course Title:  College Mathematics
    GCC Credits:  3
    Cost:  $219 plus $15 registration fee
    Accuplacer:  Elementary Algebra test-score of 70 or higher or "B" or better in MAT090/091/092/093 or "C" or better in MAT120/121/122

    High School Course:  College Prep English Honors
    GCC Course Prefix:  ENG101
    GCC Course Title:  First Year Composition
    GCC Credits:  3
    Cost:  $219 plus $15 registration fee
    Accuplacer:  WritePlacer score of 5 or higher or "C" or better in ENG091 or ESL097

    Free resources such as access to tutoring services and computers labs are available to all dual enrollment students. 


    Students should follow the steps below to enroll in GCC dual enrollment courses:

    Step 1:  Students must schedule an appointment with their home school's counselor to enroll in the course.

    Step 2:  Next, students should see their home school's career center specialist to obtain the dual enrollment packet.  The packet contains important information from GCC on how to sign-up for the dual enrollment course, placement tests, and tuition costs.  If the student fails to follow the steps in the dual enrollment packet including paying the tuition fees, then the student will not be eligible for the eCampus dual enrollment credit.  However, the student can still take the course for high school credit only.

    Additional information:  There are two start dates for the GCU BIO-220 Environmental Science course. Those start dates are January 21st and March 25th. The course is a seven-week course and interested students should start the registration process at least 7-10 business days before the start date. Please note that the course may be cancelled by GCU due to minimum enrollment requirements. Students who registered for the January 21st start date will be given the option of enrollling in the eCampus Environmental Science course (non-dual enrollment course) if the course is cancelled.  Students will be contacted if the GCU course is cancelled.
