Looking for an indicator of future success? The Arts teach the skills employers are looking for. According to a new report from the World Economic Forum, it is clear creativity at work is going to be one of the most important and in-demand skills in the next five years. Creativity is on the list along with skills such as complex problem solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. Who can teach those skills better than the Arts? The Arts drive complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity when integrated into a child’s education. Every day students have access and opportunities from our more than 140 Arts Educators that help to shape their lives and help to build their future!
Today, on day three of our virtual 2021 Peoria Arts and Cultural Festival, Peoria unified invites you to see these important skills being learned through the Arts and employed in the works of art and performances of our students at Ironwood High School and it’s feeder schools; Copperwood Elementary, Desert Palms Elementary, Desert Valley Elementary, Heritage Elementary, Marshall Ranch Elementary, and Sahuaro Ranch Elementary.
