UNIVERSITY HIGH INFORMATION

• University High is an accelerated program that starts during a student's 9th grade year. Students take the most rigorous courses that Sunrise Mountain offers, choosing an endorsement area in Languages/History or Math/Science. In its design, it will recognize individual student interests and goals, allowing flexibility for attendance at certain institutions of higher education and the simultaneous earning of high school and college / university credit through dual enrollment opportunities.

In addition to the academic program consisting of Honors and College Board Advanced Placement courses, students will be required to participate in community service. Program entrance will be based on successful completion of the freshman year including English I Honors or AIM English I and Biology H. Students must have a 3.25 GPA and C's or better.
