What is Title 1?
Title I is a federally funded program that supports the school in the areas of communication, parental involvement, and meeting student academic needs. A school qualifies for Title I funds based on the number of free/reduced lunches. Sun Valley’s Title I program is school wide and assists all grade levels K-8 in the areas of reading and math.
How does Title 1 help Sun Valley students?
The SV Title I program has assisted with funding and resources in many areas on campus.

When school resumes, your child will be bringing home a School-Wide Compact. This paperwork is required by the Federal Government for every Title I School.
Please review the compact with your child, sign and promptly return the form to your child's teacher. This will ensure that the Title I Team will be able to service students.
