    eCampus Summer School | May 28th - July 17th

    Overview & Virtual Orientation Kick-Off
eCampus Virtual High School will offer online summer school opportunities for students.  The summer session will kick off with a live virtual orientation on Tuesday, May 28th. Orientation times will vary, but your instructor will email you the Microsoft Teams meeting invitation to join their virtual orientation the day of or a few days before. You should reach out to your instructor before May 28th if you will not be able to attend the virtual orientation.

You can also view the Summer 2024 Virtual Live Orientation Schedule for your course Teams link. Links will be updated as soon as teachers create their Teams meeting.

Furthermore, students need access to a laptop/desktop and internet access to connect to the virtual orientation and to complete their online course.  A microphone is not required but recommended for the virtual orientation.  Students will be able to ask questions via chat.

In addition, students are required to watch the pre-orientation presentation above before attending the virtual orientation on May 28th.  Most of the information discussed in the presentation will not be covered in your orientation with your instructor.  Therefore, it is critical you review the presentation prior to your course's live virtual orientation.

    Dates
eCampus summer school begins Tuesday, May 28th and ends Wednesday, July 17th.

    Courses
We expect to offer all courses on our course offerings guide.  However, course availability is subject to change due to enrollment and teacher availability.

    Final Exams
In-person final exams are scheduled for Tuesday, July 16th. All final exams are given in-person at the eCampus Testing Center located on the campus of Kachina Elementary.  You should make arrangements well in advance to take the final exam on the scheduled date as this date is not flexible. If you have a conflict, you should contact the eCampus office (623-412-5345) immediately.  You will need to schedule your final exam online using the eCampus Final Exam Scheduler.

    Time Requirement
Students should expect to work a minimum of 800 weekly minutes (14 hours) for each full-credit course.  Half-credit courses remain at 400 (7 hours) weekly minutes. We recommend that students enroll in no more than one full credit course or two half-credit courses for the summer session.  The seven-week eCampus summer course will progress at an accelerated pace.  Therefore, you may spend more than the required minimum time to complete all course work by the assigned due dates.  In addition, we strongly encourage students to work ahead in the course if students plan on not connecting to the course or are without internet access for a certain period of time (e.g., vacation, camps).

    Work Expectations
Students will be required to complete ALL coursework assigned by the instructor.  There is no reduction in course content for eCampus summer courses and students will be expected to submit all assignments by the assigned due dates.

    Cost
All eCampus summer courses have a tuition fee.

    • Full credit course | $300
    • Half credit course | $150
