Peoria Unified’s version of a lifetime achievement award, the Raymond S. Kellis Leadership Award, honors leaders that embody the attributes that set Peoria Unified apart from other school districts. This award is named after a former superintendent who lead Peoria Unified through its largest period of growth and advocated for public education throughout Arizona and beyond. Employees who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the districts’ mission, vision and values can be nominated for the esteemed Raymond S. Kellis Leadership Award, and each year a committee selects one administrator, one teacher and one support staff to receive this esteemed award. These leaders have made a lasting impact on Peoria Unified and their tireless dedication to public education does not go unnoticed.
