Today Governor Ducey and Superintendent Hoffman extended the school closure until the end of the school year. While this is disappointing for all of us, it is a necessary step for us in stopping the spread of COVID-19. I hope you know how heartbreaking this is for us - we are greatly missing our students!
Today’s announcement does not stop our commitment to our students or the learning plans we have been sharing with you. We know you likely have many questions about what this means for the rest of our end of the year activities such as meetings/promotions. We will do our best to address those questions and concerns as quickly as possible.
Thank you so much for your continued support. You can continue to visit the district website, www.peoriaunified.org/coronavirus for details on free meals, learning from home and other community resources.
Thank you and take care of your wonderful families,
