Dear Sahuaro Ranch Families, 

Peoria Unified School District is pleased to announce that our school will offer free breakfast and lunch for the 2024-25 school year through the Community Eligibility Provisions (CEP) of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. This means that all students at our school will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch at no charge every school day beginning on the first day of school. 

Although all students will be able to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch, individual families that are not automatically qualified through SNAP, TANF, etc. will receive an email with a link to complete the Alternative Income Form which may help provide financial support for other educational-related expenses. Those notices should be going out to select families very soon.

Note that funds in your student’s account can be used for second meals or a la carte items. Second meals are $1.50 for breakfast and $2.50 for lunch at the elementary schools and $1.75 for breakfast and $2.75 for lunch at the high school. Milk is now $.50.  

If you have money in your child’s lunch account and you prefer to receive a refund, please click on this link Refunds. (Only amounts of $5.00 or more can be refunded due to district policy.) Funds roll over each year and may be used in the future if needed.
