Robert Luna and Chloe Dobell-Belknap December 2024 & January 2025
Congratulations to Centennial's Students of the Month, Robert Luna and Chloe Dobell-Belknap, recognized last Friday by the North Peoria Rotary Club for their commitment to "Service Above Self."
Mrs. Moniz says, "Robert Lugo is the type of student who strives for his own success but also wants everyone around him to be successful. He helps students in his classes better understand our lessons so they can excel like he does. Robby is ever-present on campus, helping to facilitate school events or cheering his classmates to victory! A four-year member of Student Council and this year’s Senior Class President, he dedicates early mornings, evenings, and weekends to ensure his peers and our staff have an exceptional experience." Somehow, he’s also made time to participate in DECA, Baseball and Basketball. Next year, Robby plans to attend Arizona State University, where he’ll major in Chemistry, with plans to then work in Pharmaceutical Sales.
Since her freshman year, Chloe Dobell-Belknap has served as a peer counselor, modeling outstanding leadership last year and this year as our vice president and now president. Mr. Ramey says, “Chloe is Centennial’s top ambassador to new students, providing them with complete campus tours and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued before sending them off to their first classes.” She plans to attend Grand Canyon University next year, where she’ll major in Behavioral Health Sciences with a goal to eventually lead a non-profit dedicated to mental health education. Chloe competed on Centennial’s women’s golf team for two years. Outside of school, she pursues an interest in competitive archery.
