FBLA gives students the opportunity to learn about the business and media industries as they prepare to become a part of it. As team members of Centennial’s student-led tee shirt company Coyote Threads and Centennial’s student broadcast team PSBN (Peoria Student Broadcasting Network), students use these skills in real-world consequential production schedules to produce and promote as student professionals. FBLA provides opportunities for students to lead and participate in group discussions, preside at meetings and conferences, work effectively within committees, and engage in practical problem solving and decision making. Projects include professional, civic service, career development, and social awareness activities. Local, regional, and national competitions are held each year providing countless opportunities for resume building through earning awards in competitions and scholarships for participation.   FBLA meets in Room 625.
