Sunrise Mountain offers extracurricular athletic opportunities to grades 9-12 in a variety of sports throughout the year.
At Sunrise Mountain High School, students have the opportunity to participate in visual and performing arts.
Sunrise Mountain Mustangs have opportunities to participate in a variety of CTE classes to build technical skills that prepare them to enter the workforce.
The Peoria Student Broadcasting Network provides students the opportunity to produce live broadcasts of sporting events and student performances throughout the school year.
COOP is a work-based program for juniors and seniors dedicated to establishing a career in early childhood education. High School students that have taken prerequisite coursework in child development and early childhood education are selected to work as teachers in our on campus preschool.
Sunrise Mountain is proud to have the Autism Students Reaching Independence through Structured Environments/Education (ARISE) program to support students and their needs.
Mustangs can choose from clubs such as art, media, National Honor Society, speech and debate and many more!
Sunrise Mountain offers a variety of CTSOs for students to build employability skills in tandem with their CTE courses.
Student Council is responsible for leading the planning and implementation of events and activities to support our campus.
Our choir and orchestra program is award winning, competing and performing around the state.
Sunrise Mountain High School, home of the Mustangs, is an A-rated school with multiple students who have earned National Merit and Flinn Scholarships. Sunrise Mountain is known for its caring teachers, academic rigor, top-notch Marching Band, and Unified Sports program. Our school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education and supportive environment for all students. Every day is a great day to be a mustang!
