Peoria Unified invites families to learn more about our high-quality, all-day kindergarten by attending Leap into Kindergarten. During this event, at each of our schools, families can tour the school, meet the school’s kindergarten team, learn what to expect in kindergarten and get their questions answered about preparing their child for school.
Across Peoria Unified, kindergarten classrooms offer a safe, welcoming environment with rigorous high-quality education taught by certified teachers that promote academic growth and provide access to specialized programs designed to meet the academic needs of every student, every day.
“We are excited to offer our youngest learners and their families the opportunity to get to know our schools and gain insights into our kindergarten experience,” said Jesse Remo, Director of Preschool. “Kindergarten is not only an exciting experience but serves as a foundation for a child’s education.”
