The Peoria Education Foundation awarded $90,000 in scholarships to Peoria Unified high school seniors this year. Scholarships are awarded in the following categories: Against All Odds, Community Service, Joseph McCord Memorial, Dr. Santarelli Leadership, Project Unify Scholarship & Award and the Peoria FFA Baskett Scholarship. The Peoria Education Foundation is currently running its annual Thank-A-Teacher fundraiser where parents, students and community members can make a donation of $5 or more in honor of their favorite Peoria Unified educator.
