The Peoria Unified School District is excited to share the graduating Class of 2026 earned a collective $93.7 million in scholarship awards. Scholarships were awarded based on academic merit, athletics, arts, community service and more.

 

Below are the scholarship totals by school:

Cactus High School- $8,161,915

Centennial High School- $16,715,062

Ironwood High School- $13,334,426

Liberty High School- $18,293,744

Peoria High School- $9,441,896

Peoria Flex Academy- $2,500

Raymond S. Kellis High School- $11,475,296

Sunrise Mountain High School- $16,329,091

TOTAL- $93,753,930

 

Centennial, Ironwood, Peoria and Peoria Flex Academy all saw an increase in the total amount of scholarships earned compared to last year. A few highlights from this year include the following:

  • Sunrise Mountain High School senior Sophia Schahn earned $2,284,000 in scholarships.

  • Liberty High School senior Kylie McEwen received a scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

  • Ironwood High School seniors Abigail Hererra and Fatima Ijaz were awarded $6,000 for winning a national DECA challenge.

  • 34 graduating seniors received one or more scholarships from the Peoria Education Foundation.
