The nominated "Sunrise vs. Liberty - Baseball" broadcast represented a collaborative production between students from Sunrise Mountain and Liberty high schools, under the direction of Digital Media Teacher Kenyon Ozanne, demonstrating the teamwork and professional-level production skills developed through the district's Film & TV programs and the Peoria Student Broadcasting Network (PSBN), an internship that provides students with professional techniques through hands-on experience. The respective awards and nominees are detailed below:In addition to current students, several recent Peoria Unified alumni were recognized through their collegiate programs. Former Sunrise Mountain students Ethan Kreuzwiesner and Lucas Svornic earned a combined three nominations, while former Liberty students Ethan Sinconis and Aidan Sinconis earned four nominations and one award, further highlighting the long-term impact of the district's Film & TV programs.

Peoria Unified Film & TV students may submit creative works produced during class instruction or during their internship with PSBN. Equipped with advanced production equipment and editing software, including the Adobe Creative Suite, students produce high-quality programming such as sports broadcasts, performing arts showcases, commercials and student-life features. These opportunities help students earn industry-recognized credentials while preparing them for postsecondary education and careers in film, television and broadcasting.
