Last November, Superintendent Dr. KC Somers launched Somers' Spotlight, an all-new employee recognition program that gives parents the opportunity to recognize Peoria Unified staff's commitment to every student, every day.
Foothills Elementary's Registrar, Kelly Baker, was recently recognized as a Somers' Spotlight. Kelly is dedicated to making the office feel warm and welcoming. She never fails to greet parents and visitors with positivity and kindness which goes a long way for busy families.
“She is a ray of sunshine when she checks us in for events. No matter how busy the office is, she is always smiling and welcoming,” shared one parent.
