Last November, Superintendent Dr. KC Somers launched Somers' Spotlight, an all-new employee recognition program that gives parents the opportunity to recognize Peoria Unified staff's commitment to every student, every day.
Ashleigh Rama, Sahuaro Ranch's seventh grade teacher, was recently recognized as a Somers' Spotlight. Ms. Rama is dedicated to answering questions, finding solutions and even responding on her days off to make certain parents have the necessary support to ensure student success.
“When I feel like I’m bugging her with all my questions, she always reassures me that I’m not. She’s amazing and I’m so glad that my daughter has a teacher like her,” shared one parent.
