Last November, Superintendent Dr. KC Somers launched Somers' Spotlight, an all-new employee recognition program that gives parents the opportunity to recognize Peoria Unified staff's commitment to every student, every day.
Tiffany Buffington, Zuni Hills Cafeteria Lead, was honored as the first winner. She was recognized for her commitment to and support of a sixth grade student in the ABLE program. His mother shared, "Tiffany's care, leadership and genuine investment in my son's success have truly been life-changing."
