ECAP and Academic Planning
-
ECAP stands for Education Career Action Plan. This is a tool that counselors use to assist students in preparing for future career goals. An ECAP is required for every high school student in the state of Arizona. The ECAP process begins in seventh and eighth grade with career exploration, typically in the TLC classroom. High School Counselors meet with students annually to update the ECAP and set goals for their post-secondary plan. The ECAP is created and maintained on the SchooLinks platform.

Peoria District supports College and Career Readiness for every student by partnering with SchooLinks, a digital academic and career planning platform designed to help students discover future careers and post-secondary institutions. Every 7-12 grade student can access a personalized profile by logging in on the Student Portal Resource Page. Utilize this site for academic planning, career exploration, college exploration and post-secondary planning. All students 9-12 will have an electronic Education Career Action Plan developed and stored on this platform.
