Copperwood Elementary School Goals
At Copperwood, we are continuously working to provide the best educational environment for our students. In order to support our Mission and Vision, we have developed specific goals focusing on student achievement and professional practice. In an effort to meet our goals, we will commit our Professional Development time and a portion of our fiscal resources to new learning and approaches for implementation. So that we may continuously grow and improve, we commit to pursue the following goals:
Student Achievement
At Copperwood, we are committed to ensuring that each student reaches their full potential by maximizing their individual growth academically and socially in each school year. Growth can be measured by District and/or State Assessments, Resource / Program Benchmarks, Mastery of Standards and/or Teacher Data collection.
In order to positively affect student growth, we will focus on four main areas:
-Providing for Differentiation for all Students
-Supporting Student’s Social and Personal Development through PBIS and Character Counts
-Utilizing Cooperative Learning Structures
-Facilitating Student Goal Setting
Professional Practice
