Kindergarten

Grade Level Information

  • Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, and their ability to get along.  While kindergarten marks an important transition into the primary grades, it is important that children still get to be children.  In kindergarten, just a few of the things we will learn are the following: become an independent thinker, more than 26 sounds, 50 high frequency words, number sense, addition and subtraction and solve oral word problems.
