    Open Enrollment procedures for Peoria Traditional School:

    Thank you for your interest in our school!

    The enrollment process for PTS involves a parent conference with the principal, a tour of the school (if requested) and a scheduled screener given to each student prior to enrollment.  (Note the tour and screener can be done at the same time if the tour falls during one of the three open enrollment windows.)

    Why a screener?

    Each of us learns differently, therefore a traditional approach to education may not be right for every student. An initial screener will be given pre-enrollment to ensure your child is set up for success at the very start by demonstrating expected skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for PTS’s rigorous content, high expectations, and fast-paced learning environment.

    Open Enrollment windows

    In order to limit disruptions during the school year, and to ensure all new enrollees begin at an opportune starting point in the academic year, PTS will offer three windows of open enrollment throughout the year. 

    These will be:
    The first week of September for 2nd quarter enrollment.
    The first week of December for 3rd quarter enrollment
    The last week of April and July for enrollment for the new school year.
