Critical shortage of bus drivers – can you help a family in need?As you know, school districts around the state and country are experiencing a shortage of bus drivers and Peoria Unified is no exception. Even utilizing all available staff who have a CDL, we will not have enough drivers for all bus routes to start the new school year. While it troubles us to begin the year with this news, we will need to cancel a limited number of bus routes indefinitely as we work to hire and train new drivers and support those who are currently out on leave.Click here to learn more about impacted routes and opportunities to help other Peoria families
