• I am so honored and excited to join Ira A. Murphy as your assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year! I am eager to work alongside the students, families, staff, and community.  I have heard wonderful things about Murphy’s M.A.G.I.C Mustang traditions and look forward to experiencing them together.

    This will be my 17th year in the Peoria Unified School District, I have taught preschool through 8th grade as a classroom teacher and reading interventionist. I am a first-generation college graduate and the first in my family to earn a master’s degree. I have a passion for teaching and supporting educators to increase student achievement. I am committed to building relationships and creating a safe, strong learning environment for all students.

    In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons and our pup, Kona. We love being outdoors, watching the latest movie, and spending time on the beach. You can usually find us at our local parks playing sports or just enjoying the beautiful weather Arizona has to offer, even in the summer heat!

    I look forward to serving the Mustang community and can’t wait to see what our students accomplish this school year. Go Mustangs!
