In order to be qualified for assistance under Section 504, the student must be between the ages of three (3) and twenty-one (21) years of age and meet the definition of “disabled.”

A student is disabled if he/she

1. has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities

2. has a record of such impairment, or

3. is regarded as having such an impairment.
