Welcome to Vistancia Elementary School

I am honored to be part of the Vistancia School community; a school steeped in a rich tradition of academic excellence. Our reputation began with a focus on standards and high expectations. We are evolving our educational practices to develop innovative and enriching opportunities for our students. Our goal is to bring varied and vast learning opportunities that allow students to thrive in the classroom and beyond. We are committed to our students’ achievements.

The Vistancia staff recognizes that our partnerships with families are at the heart of our success. When our students see the team effort to build, develop, and support their learning goals, the only outcome is success.

Our students will not learn in isolation. Vistancia School staff works to provide contextual learning opportunities where students can learn through project-based learning and community activities from their start of school career through their eighth-grade school year. Clubs and activities are a terrific way for students to learn responsibility while honing their academic skills through real-world experiences. Our students need to be able to communicate, collaborate, problem-solve, and creatively think as they prepare for the ever-expanding job market.

Additionally, students should expect their education to be personalized to their needs.  The Vistancia staff combine their data analytics and daily observations to tailor learning opportunities to support the growth of each child.  We will celebrate the students’ accomplishments in a variety of ways including publications of work, pictures, and stories for the community to join in our pride for the children of Vistancia.

The Vistancia School hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with our weekly early release day occurring on Wednesdays. Our students’ learning stretches beyond the school hours so it is important to be aware of events and activities that will enrich your child’s school experience.
