Canvas is a Learning Management System used to deliver assignments and content to students. Using Canvas allows teachers and students to have one access point for all their digital content. Canvas is new and its classroom use may vary from grade level to grade level and school to school.
Parents can log in to Canvas as an observer and view assignments, events, and course interactions. Parents can view most of the same content as their child unless the content is unpublished or restricted by locked dates. Parents can also see the teacher-created directions associated with assignments.
To access Canvas, parents must have a ParentVUE account. If you do not have a ParentVUE account, please talk with your school secretary about having one created.
If you have any questions about Canvas, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher.
