Principal's Message

Welcome Back from Vistancia Elementary School

The beginning of a new school year is a key part of American tradition and is certainly a focus for Vistancia families this time of year.  We want to offer a heartfelt welcome to our new families and to those who are returning to our school.  It is the goal of our staff to form a strong alliance with you to help create the conditions for a successful school year for your son/daughter.  This year has kicked off unlike any other.  We first opened our digital doors to students on August 5th and our staff and students have been connecting in ways previously unimagined as we navigate the world of digital learning.

All students and teachers have begun the year engaged with virtual learning.  As the health situation improves, students will be allowed to come back on campus while we continue to offer distance learning opportunities for those families who choose this option.  Whether a student re-engages with us in person or continues to learn remotely, we are all Heat and a part of the Vistancia family.

Our standard school hours are the same as in the past from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  When in-person learning is allowed, students can begin arriving on campus at 7:40 AM.  New this year, our weekly early release day has changed to Wednesday with students dismissing at 1:00.  For a schedule of these dates and others, please use this link to access the district calendar page.

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the honor and responsibility of leading a wonderful group of educational professionals, our community's parents, and most importantly, our incredible students.  I look forward to working with all of you as we build our future one leader at a time.

    Lead.  Learn.  Excel.  Vistancia.
