Vistancia Band program consists of three levels of Bands, 5th grade Beginning Band, 6th grade Intermediate Band and our JH Advanced Band. Students in the Peoria Unified School District have the opportunity to begin Band starting in the 5th grade. All three levels of Bands perform in a Winter Concert, a Spring Concert and our very own Vistancia Arts in the Park. The JH Advanced Band performs for various activities within the school and the surrounding community they have also performed for the ESPN broadcasting network before a Phoenix Suns game and they have also performed before an Arizona Coyotes game. The Advanced band has also performed for local network stations in the Phoenix valley.

Goals:

•               To develop musical skills and musicianship.
•               To prepare and perform music works.
