In August of 1993, Santa Fe Elementary School opened its doors to 850 students. Santa Fe got its name because its location is near the Santa Fe railroad tracks. Our colors are purple and orange, and we refer to ourselves as "The Suns." Our colors and name were bestowed upon us, as the opening of Santa Fe followed a fantastic Phoenix Sun's basketball season!
Santa Fe's Choice Program is Spanish Immersion. We currently offer a Second Language Learning Opportunity for students in Kindergarten through 8th-grade.
