RSK Student Drop Off/Pick Up and Student Parking
As we start the new school year, we wanted to make you aware of our new student drop off and pick up procedures as well as structural changes made to the student parking lot. With student safety as our driving force we collaborated with our SRO, Officer Cunningham, as well as our security team to create a time efficient route that focused on student safety.
Student Drop Off
Enter the parking lot off 91st Avenue and proceed into the left lane on the main driveway. Students with parking passes will be entering their lot from the right lane. Once you get to the end of the main driveway, turn right (heading South) and stay in the left lane. You will drop your student off at the sidewalk only. Once your child has exited the car you can use the right lane to bypass cars who are still unloading. No students are to be dropped off in the bypass lane. You will exit the parking lot using the fire lane closest to the buildings. There will be 2 lanes to allow for a quick exit and Officer Cunningham will assist with traffic.
Student Pick Up
The route for student pick-up is the same as drop off. You will not be allowed to pick up your child in the bypass lane, this is only to allow for traffic flow out of the parking lot.
Student Parking
The easiest way to enter the parking lot is travelling North on 91st Avenue. You will make a right turn into the parking lot and take an immediate right into the gated student lot. If you are entering the lot travelling South on 91st Avenue you need to make a left turn into the lot and merge into the far-right lane to take an immediate right. You will park in your designated spot once in the lot.
Once the school day has started the entrance to the lot off the main driveway will be closed. If you are late to school you can still park in the lot, you just have to enter the lot from the row closest to Building 2. A member of the security team will be there to assist as needed.
At the end of your day you will exit the lot from the first row, closest to Building 2. You will take a right and can use the right lane to bypass the parent pick-up. You will exit the lot from the fire lane closest to the buildings.
