  • SPIRIT WEEK is coming up next week from January 29th - February 2nd! The theme is Alice in Wonderland.

    Monday: Late for an important date. Wear PJs
    Tuesday: Tweedle-dee and Tweedledum: Rhyme Without Reason – Pair up with a friend for a dress-up duo with no rhyme or reason. (for example, PJs and DJ, Lightning McQueen and Mr. Clean)
    Wednesday: Paint the Roses Red: Wear your school appropriate "Red Flag"
    Thursday: Looking Through the Glass: Dress as Your Future Self
    Friday: Mad Hatter: Class Colors Day – Freshmen in blue, Sophomores in purple, Juniors in red, and Seniors in pink.

    Attention Seniors

    Are you interested in attending a community college next year? If so, we will have the community college representatives on campus multiple times this year. They will be here to assist you with questions, enrollment, and registration of classes. Please look for the QR sign-up all over campus or stop by the Library/Career Center to see Mrs. McMillen. Your future matters and we are here to help!
     
    Welcome back to Kellis from the Ceramics Corner!
    Do you have work from a ceramics course last semester that you need to pick up? Miss Columbia will be holding onto last semesters work for 2 weeks for student pick up. Pick ups may be done during Ceramics Club on Thursdays after school or by appointment. January 11th there will be NO CLUB, but pick ups will be available after school until 3:00.
    This semester’s first meeting of Ceramics Club will be held January 18th, 2:30-3:30 in room 101 of building 2. All are welcome!
     
    Wellness Club Interest Meeting on Thursday 1/18 during both lunches and after school at 2:30 in room 1-101. Come to the meeting to learn how to serve with purpose, be a leader on campus, and how to spread awareness on a variety of topics!
     
    Spring sports are right around the corner! Baseball, softball, track and field, tennis, and boys volleyball officially start tryouts on February 5th. If you have not participated in a sport yet and want to tryout, make sure you see Mrs. Fox and get cleared through Register My Athlete. Don't wait until the last minute because you won't be able to tryout until everything is completed!
     
    Attention all girls interested in playing flag football: there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, January 18th at 2:30 in the lecture hall. If you can't make the meeting because you are in a winter sport, see Mrs. Bourland or Mrs. Fox in the front office for details.
     
    Hosa is sponsoring their Winter Blood Drive on February 1st. Hosa students will be coming around beginning Tuesday, January 16th to pass out permission forms. If you are 16 and older you can donate. Please consider donating to this very important cause. The blood banks are critically low and are in need. Please consider donating. See Mrs. Raymo in room 2-110 if you have any questions.
     
    SENIORS: The senior class photo will be on Friday, January 19th during 2nd period. All seniors will report to the main gym after taking attendance in 2nd period. Please help us get the word out to every senior in the class of 2024. Do you know someone who graduated early? Maybe someone not on campus during 2nd period? Message them and let them know about the class photo. See you there Cougars!
