Hi, I'm Lindsay Levers and I am the Varsity Spiritline Coach. I graduated from ASU with a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on History and then went on to pursue a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught for the past 11 years, with the past 3 years being at Kellis. I cheered all throughout high school, winning several state titles. I have been Coaching for Kellis for the past 3 years and love every minute of it. The part of coaching that brings me the most joy is the relationships I build with my athletes. My goals as a coach are simple; I want athletes to have passion and pride for what they are doing and be an outstanding example of "Cougar Pride."
Meet Katye Gainey our JV Coach:
Hi! I am Katye Gainey. I am an Arizona native and PUSD graduate. I began dancing at the age of 3 at a local studio and was a cheerleader in high school. I have a Bachelor’s degree from ASU in Dance Education, a Master’s degree from NAU in Counseling/Human Relations and a Master’s degree from Ottawa in School Counseling. I have been married to my husband for 13 years and we have two boys, James and Finnegan. This is my third year as a counselor at Kellis. Previously, I taught high school dance for 12 years at Dysart High School. I was a Spiritline coach 10 of my 12 years there. I have coached freshman through varsity, both Pom and Cheer. I am excited to join the Kellis team and can’t wait to see where the season leads us!
