Centennial's Science and Environmental Awareness Students returned from an incredible trip to Catalina Island over the weekend, where the students enjoyed daytime and nighttime snorkeling excursions, rock climbing, hiking, a squid dissection, and kelp and shark labs. Thanks to Mrs. Petersen and all of the chaperones who helped to make this trip possible for our SEA Club students!

Yearbooks Coming May 5th!

  • Centennial Coyote Imprint Yearbook Peoria Unified
At Centennial High School, we are all superheroes. All Coyotes have their own unique identities and superpowers that make us special. This year, the Coyote Imprint Yearbook embraces our inner-heroes and shows we have assembled to make a true justice league. We are all Drawn Together by our talents, abilities, and accomplishments. Yearbook distribution will be held on Thursday, May 5 during 3rd/4th hour. Make sure that you will be one of the first Coyotes to receive your yearbook by pre-ordering today! Yearbooks may be purchased on-campus in the Bookstore for $75. This year’s book is the largest yearbook in Centennial history, bursting at over 300 pages and includes a free spring supplement. Act in a flash, because less than 100 copies are still available. If you have any questions, please contact CeHSYearbook@pusd11.net

Japanese Students Hold Swap Meet

  • Centennial Peoria Japanese Class

On Monday, April 18th, Centennial's Japanese II students hosted an in-class swap meet called Centennial Konbini. Students created a mini version of Japanese convenience stores to practice their language and cultural skills in buying and selling a variety of items to each other and to staff. Tanoshikattadeshita! It was a lot of fun!
