    Centennial Peoria Choir

    Mrs. Tucker and Bel Canto performed the Star Spangled Banner at the opening ceremony for the Relay for Life at CeHS last weekend. National Honor Society, Culinary, Engineering, Gaming Club, and PSBN members were on-hand to support the event, which raised nearly $50k for the American Cancer Society.

    Congratulations to Centennial's three 2022 Pride of Peoria Winners: Mr. Berquam, Mrs. Colletti, and Mrs. Schmidt! The Pride of Peoria Award recognizes PUSD employees who display a genuine concern for students, staff, and patrons, who maintain a high standard of professionalism, and who strive for personal and professional growth.

A Culture of Achievement

  • Centennial SEA Club

    Congratulations to Centennial SEA Club, which finished in 2nd place overall at the Arizona State Envirothon competition on Friday! Centennial teams placed 2nd in Soils, 2nd and 3rd in Wildlife, 3rd in Forestry, and 3rd in Aquatics. COngratulations to Camden Petersen, Sophie Nguyen, Brooke Ojeda, Kathrine Miskimen, Kaitlyn Swanson, Dalton Young, Crystal Bond, Bella Ferguson, Kyra Bailey, Logan Behrens, Jack Nitschke, Seth Goodwin, Jaida Ganesen, Sam Manuel, and Aubrielle Lugo. Above, students showcase their awards. Dozens of SEA Club members will travel to Catalina Island later this month.

    Centennial Peoria FBLA

    Congratulations to Mrs. Koener and Centennial's Future Business Leaders of America! Thirteen Coyotes qualified for the state competition, and eleven of those finished in the Top 4, earning the right to compete at Nationals in Chicago this coming summer!     Peoria Anthony Jacobs Centennial

    Congratulations to senior Anthony Jacobs, who was named to the all-state band, serving as fourth chair on the tuba this past weekend at the AMEA Festival at Northern Arizona University.


Advanced French Students Imitate Art

  • Madame Rappold's French IV students brought their Beauty and Aesthetics unit to life by recreating French works of art. They presented facts and opinions about the art in French to the French II students and then staged recreations of each piece using live models and props from home.
