News Around Centennial

    becca san

Ms. Cothren, our Japanese teacher, reports that Mikcayla Hallberg's okaasan (mother), Becka-san, treated our Japanese I class to a wonderful experience by "taking" the class to Japan. Becka-san lived in Japan for over 20 years and shared her experiences of being raised there. Students practiced their newly learned language skills with Becka-san by engaging in a fun Q and A session, then wrapped up her visit with gifts. Each student received chopsticks (hashi), Japanese candy (ame), origami, and kawaii pencil erasers (keshigomu). Domo arigatougozaimasu Becka-san! We LOVE our parents!
