We Need Your Feedback
Parents, Please Click Here to Take the Annual Survey
Each spring, we share a survey that allows our district to continuously improve the educational experience for our students and work environment of our staff. The Governing Board, district and school leadership believe that parent, student and staff input are critical to the educational process. You will only need to take this 10-minute survey once, but you can take it multiple times if you have kids at different schools. The survey closes on Friday, March 17th, so please help us out by taking some time this week to give us your feedback!

Congratulations to Mrs. Parrish and our Future Health Professionals students for organizing our third blood drive of the year. More than 60 students, staff, and community members showed up to save lives!
To celebrate Black History Month, Centennial's Black Student Union members decorated the 200, 300, and 600 Building hallways with images of important and influential African Americans, celebrating their influence and contributions to our society and lives.
This past week, Centennial FBLA members practiced at Grand Canyon University in preparation for the FBLA State Competition. Thanks to GCU for giving our students feedback and support!
See Something? Say Something!
-
Dear Peoria Unified Staff & Families,
Over the next eight weeks, Peoria Unified will share its safety campaign called See Something, Hear Something, Say Something, Do Something. Throughout this campaign, we will encourage our students, staff and families to join us in promoting student and staff safety. We will provide safety resources for families and ask every student to take an active role in their safety by taking a safety pledge on our district website. We hope students and families will report any concern they see or hear so that site leaders may properly respond.
Our engagement with students will not stop there. Students in 6th through 12th grades will receive direct messages with details about the safety campaign. We’ll ask each of them to pledge online to be more involved in their own safety and the safety of others. Each PUSD high school campus will work with their School Resource Officer to produce morning announcements focused on safety. High school students will also be charged with designing their own safety flyer and the winner at each high school will have their artwork displayed on their campus until the end of the school year. We will also release a new podcast at the end of the month highlighting safety.
To continuously provide support and resources to families, Peoria Unified is offering a virtual parent presentation, hosted by Teen Lifeline, on how adolescents experience and cope with stress. This virtual presentation will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. Those who are interested in attending should register in advance using this link:

In kicking off this campaign, Peoria Unified is declaring March 6-10 its very own School Safety Week! Our students will be hearing more about this campaign soon through direct messaging.
Thank you for your support in helping us prioritize safety for all.
