    Thanks to Coach Bauer, Coach Pottle and the Centennial Boys Volleyball team for hosting its annual Impact Night, during which our athletes honor teachers and other mentors who have shaped them for the better. The Coyote athletes pictured above honored Mr. Buhrmann, Mr. White, Ms. Beck, Coach Taylor, Ms. Jones, Mr. Bussey, Mrs. Cota, Mr. TenBarge, Mrs. Denton, Dr. Larsen, Coach Bauer, Mrs. Moniz, Ms. Fox, and Mr. Lentz. The Coyotes then defeated McClintock 3-0.

    Centennial will again offer two options for summer school achievement and credit recovery. Freshmen and sophomores who would like to improve their grades in core classes are invited to participate in our Summer Achievement Academy. Juniors and seniors wishing to recover core or elective credits are invited to participate in our Credit Recovery classes. Around Campus

  • Child Development Learning

    Mrs. Burlaka's Child Development students are learning about infant development, practicing their diapering and swaddling skills as well as using nasal aspirators, taste testing baby food and more. These activities, in addition to caring for a simulated baby for the weekend, apply hands-on learning for infant care.

    FTA State Comp

    Mrs. Winston, FTA Sponsor, took six students to Tucson over spring break to compete in the Educator’s Rising State Competition and here are the results!  We are so proud of their accomplishments!

    • Centennial Chapter earned the Gold Chapter Award.
    • Kylie Gaboriault and Alyssa Celaya received Student Achievement Awards for going above and beyond in their EdRising work and participation.
    • The following students qualified for the national competition:

      • Alyssa Celaya – Lesson Planning Humanities

    Join Peoria Unified School District from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 27 at Cactus High School for our Spring Career Fair! This Free Event is open to Peoria Unified students as well as adult community members. The fair will host  35+ tech,trade schools, and local employers to offer internships, apprenticeships, part-time and full-time job openings. Click here for more information
