Congratulations to Centennial Softball for clinching the state's #4 seed heading into the AIA Playoffs. Centennial will host a home playoff game on Saturday, April 29th at 11:30am, versus Ironwood Ridge.
Centennial Baseball clinched its first region championship since 1999! The Coyotes hosted Sunrise Mountain in an AIA playoff game Wednesday night, defeating the Mustangs 5-2 and sweeping the season series 3 games to 0. Congratulations to all the players and coaches! The Coyotes now head into the first round of the State Playoffs, with a Saturday, April 29th 11am game at Chaparral.

- Centennial students and their guests must present a photo ID for entrance into prom. Students without ID cannot be admitted.
- All purses, bags, and accessories must be checked into the coat room. Guests may not bring food or drink into the prom venue. The junior class has arranged for beverages and h'ourdourves to be served throughout the dance.
- A free Photo Booth will be available to attendees. However, no professional photos will be offered on site.
- The Camby has very limited valet parking for an $8.00 fee, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Additional parking is available across Camelback Road, possibly at an additional cost, as well as in the lot behind Harkins Theatre.
- Centennial High School prioritizes students’ safety and well-being on campus and at school events. As always, the junior class prom planning committee has arranged for police supervision at Centennial’s prom.
- The Peoria Unified School District’s student handbook indicates that student alcohol or drug violations at school events will result in suspension, parent notification, and possible involvement of police. Centennial High School administration refers all instances of alcohol or drug use or possession to the police. Any student removed from a school event for violating school rules will not be entitled to a refund of ticket purchase.

AP Testing Begins May 1st

AP Exams begin Monday May 1st and proceed through Thursday May 11th at Centennial High School. ALL Advanced Placement students MUST check their email for information such as Exam Prep Information Sheet, Individual Exam Day schedule, and updated exam room information.
All communication about exam day procedures are emailed through Total Registration's communication system. If you or your student are not receiving AP emails, please double check the email that was input into your student's Total Registration account by having them log in at https://user.totalregistration.net/student/login.php. Also have your student double check their school PUSD 11 Postmaster email with a Mimecast Portal link in case any emails are being blocked.

Our Peer Counseling team headed by Mr. Jeremy Ramey visited our feeder schools to pump up 8th graders about their transition to high school. Peer counselors hosted four stations where students learned about Centennial’s culture, high school readiness, and about making the right decisions, even when they are difficult.

This week, administration met with seniors to share upcoming dates, required tasks for “senior checkout,” and important details about the May 25th commencement ceremony, scheduled for 11:30am at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
