Congratulations to Coach Taylor and the Taylor family on his induction into the Arizona Coaches Hall of Fame! For more than 50 years, Coach Taylor has helped young people achieve their goals and realize their capacity for leadership. He is among the most successful and impactful coaches in our state's history. He continues to help keep Centennial a great place!
Congratulations to Mrs. McFall, Mrs. Garrigan, and all of the dancers and crew members for last week's outstanding performances of "Let the World Know," Centennial's spring dance show. Our students' creativity, focus, and professionalism shone through all three nights, to packed audiences.
Thanks to Student Council for planning a great Elvis-themed spirit week, with dress-up days, the Powder Puff game, and our spring assembly. Congratulations to our prom king and queen, Victor Fabuluje and Zoe Short, and thanks to our junior officers for planning such a well-attended and fun prom!

Congratulations to Mrs. Petersen and Centennial’s Envirothon Team for winning 1st place at the state competition in March and earning the opportunity to represent the state of Arizona in the international competition this summer in Canada. The first-place winners include captain Katherine Miskimen, Jack Nitschke, Brooke Ojeda, Sophie Nguyen, and Tayla Martin.
On Saturday, April 29th, Centennial's Concert Band made their first appearance at ABODA State Concert Festival in several years. The band qualified for state by earning the rating of "Excellent with Recognition" at our Area Festival. Last weekend, they performed harder literature in front of out-of-state judges, passed a sight-reading component, and earned a SUPERIOR rating! Come check out this group for their final concert on May 16th at 7pm in the auditorium.
This past Saturday, the Centennial Art Club toured Arcosanti outside of Prescott and learned to make kaleidoscopes in Jerome with Carolyn Bennett, a renown kaleidoscope artist. The students also partook in a glass-blowing demonstration. The club had a great time learning about different art mediums.
