    Congratulations to Centennial Theatre Company for earning a school-record and state-leading 11 nominations for the ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards! Twenty five top schools are chosen to participate in this Oscars-like competition adjudicated by industry experts. Centennial's spring musical Into the Woods earned top-ten finalist nominations in EVERY category, including Best Lead Male – Chris Brattin; Best Lead Female – Hope Estle; Best Vocalist – Chris Brown; Best Supporting Female – Amber Poirier; Best Supporting Male – Nation Queal; Best Dance Ensemble – All Cast; Best Set and Props – Mackenzie Topinio & Milian Mangum; Best Lighting – Madison Norris; Best Sound – AC Pahia; Best Costumes – Hope Estle & Hannah Christians; Best Hair and Make-up – Anneke Maanum & Alex Cooney.

    Centennial Coyote Imprint

    Congratulations to Mr. Butler and the yearbook students for their hard work, creativity, and professionalism in producing this year's edition of the Coyote Imprint, titled "Come As You Are."  Yearbook Club members will deliver pre-ordered books to students during 3rd and 4th periods on Friday, May 12th. A limited number of books remain and will be available for sale beginning on the morning of Monday, May 15th. If you want to purchase a yearbook, be sure to make plans to arrive at the Bookstore early that day. The award-winning books sell out every year and will again this year!

  • Culture

    Congratulations to the Centennial Culture Club for hosting Culture Week last week on campus. The students planned lunchtime activities and sold snacks associated with cultures from all over the world!

    college algebra classroom visit

    Mrs. Madrid-Wallace took time in her College Algebra Honors math classes to share with students great examples of math's applicability in careers after high school math. Rachael Pereda visited in early April to discuss how the Chandler Fire Academy requires math skills and the role these skills play in performing job responsibilities. Later in April, ASU Football alum and Phillips Law Manager Juan Roquea spoke to students about taking advantage of valuable honors math opportunities in high school and how these opportunities carried him through to playing and working with the best of the best!


AP Testing Continues This Week

  • logo AP Exams begin Monday May 1st and proceed through Thursday May 11th at Centennial High School. ALL Advanced Placement students MUST check their email for information such as Exam Prep Information Sheet, Individual Exam Day schedule, and updated exam room information. 

    All communication about exam day procedures are emailed through Total Registration's communication system. If you or your student are not receiving AP emails, please double check the email that was input into your student's Total Registration account by having them log in at https://user.totalregistration.net/student/login.php. Also have your student double check their school PUSD 11 Postmaster email with a Mimecast Portal link in case any emails are being blocked.

Freshmen and sophomores who would like to improve their grades in core classes are invited to participate in our Summer Achievement Academy.
