Centennial's Spiderman-themed Homecoming Week is scheduled for October 16th through the 21st. We hope students and families will participate in all the fun! On Monday, October 16th, we'll dress as BBQ dads and Soccer Moms. We'll hold the annual family carnival Monday evening from 5-8PM. Tuesday, October 17th is Farmer/Food Day, where students dress up as the producers or the final product! On Wednesday, October 18th, we'll dress as artists and celebrities. Thursday, October 19th is Superher/Villain Day, with the Parade scheduled Thursday morning at 9AM. Friday, October 20th is a schoolwide Blackout with neon class colors for the 2nd Period assemblies. Friday night, Football hosts Chaparral for its final home game of the year, with fireworks and halftime royalty! Finally on Saturday, October 21st, Centennial will host its Homecoming Dance from 7-10PM in the Main Gym. Tickets are still on sale at both lunches BUT WILL NOT be available at the door.

1st Quarter Leaders of the Pack

Congratulations to Centennial's first-quarter Leaders of the Pack: Freshmen Nathaniel Worley and Trysten Ostlund, sophomores Saomy Valentin and Lani Boone, Juniors Conor Olney and Jeremy Borgstadt, and seniors Aiea Al-Anazi and Chris Brown. Centennial teachers nominate students each quarter who exemplify Coyote Pride values of Honor, Integrity and Excellence. These eight students were chosen from dozens of nominees and recognized during a breakfast that included their parents, grandparents and siblings.

Cardinals Name Coach Taylor "Coach of the Week"

Congratulations to Coach Taylor, recognized by the Arizona Cardinals as our state's Coach of the Week. To honor Coach Taylor, the Cardinals donated $2,000 to the Centennial Football program and provided him with a regular season game sideline pass. Coach Taylor has won seven state championships and over 320 games. Going into this week's homecoming game versus Chaparral, the Coyotes are ranked #1 in Arizona, with a 7-0 record.
