  • Spring Spirit Week: April 8 - April 13, 2024

It's Spring Spirit Week, our final spirit week of the year, with daily "enchanted" dress-up days. We'll host the annual Powder Puff game on Thursday, April 11th at 5pm, the spring spirit assembly during 2nd period classes on Friday, April 12th, and the Junior-Senior Prom from 7-10 on Saturday, April 13th, at Arrowhead Country Club.

Last week, incoming Superintendent Dr. KC Somers and Mr. Hollabaugh surprised two of our outstanding teachers with the Pride of Peoria award, reserved for the Top 1% of all teachers in our district: Congratulations to our Special Education Teacher, Mr. Dennis White, and our Construction Teacher, Mr. Reyes Ruiz! Both are constants on the CeHS campus. In addition to serving as the Special Education Department Chair, Mr. White sponsors the Tabletop Gaming Club and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Mr. Ruiz serves as the lead construction teacher for PUSD and is piloting an internship class this semester on behalf of the district. Both have made tremendous contributions to Centennial’s culture and positively impacted many students’ lives. Mr. White and Mr. Ruiz will be recognized at a May 6th ceremony among our district’s other winners.
