This Friday, April 19th, Peoria Unified schools and offices will close for our spring testing break.
This week on Tuesday, Mr. Hollabaugh will meet with all graduating seniors to explain the graduation ceremony, the checkout process, and review important remaining events ahead of our Wednesday, May 22nd 11:30am commencement.
This past Saturday at the University of Arizona in Tucson, senior oboist Nathan Reynolds auditioned and was accepted into the AMEA All-State Band, competing with musicians from around our state and later performing under the direction of Emmy-winning composer, Julie Giroux. Thanks to our junior class officers for planning an amazing 2024 Prom at Arrowhead Country Club. More than 550 Coyotes attended! Congratulations to our students selected as prom royalty: Our Prince Gandi Sandoval, Princess Jalesa Mitchell, King Archie Robinson and Queen Akashanahya Prpich!
The Coyotes continued our annual Powder Puff game tradition last Thursday, with the juniors besting the seniors 28-7.
Thanks to the Peoria Educational Foundation for granting scholarships to three Coyotes graduating in the Class of 2024! Harmony Fisher, Joseph Pyon, and Madison Norris were all awarded the Against All Odds scholarship, which recognizes students who have excelled in the face of significant obstacles. Harmony was additionally awarded the Joseph McCord Memorial scholarship, which recognizes a student with a deep passion for history, politics, and giving back to the community.
