Thank you to all of Centennial's nearly 100 teachers, whose care, expertise, and dedication help our students learn and reach their goals! Every CeHS teacher plays a role in the success of our students. We are grateful for everything you do!
Congratulations to Mrs. Petersen and Centennial's Science and Environmental Awareness (SEA) Club on their finish as state runners-up in this year's Envirothon! Arizona high schoolers demonstrated their mastery of environmental principles and problem solving along the Mogollon Rim's Christopher Creek. Students tested their field skills in aquatic ecology, water quality, forestry and wildlife management, soil science, land use and agriculture. Centennial teams also presented to judges their recommended sustainable energy plans for the town of Payson, including solar, wind, hydroelectric and biomass power generation. Over the last three years, Centennial teams have finished second, first, and now second again among the ten high schools competing for honors and prizes!
Congratulations to Mr. Butler and the yearbook students for their hard work, creativity, and professionalism in producing this year's edition of the Coyote Imprint, titled "More Than Meets the Eye." Yearbook Club members will deliver pre-ordered books to students during 3rd and 4th periods on Friday, May 10th. A limited number of leftover books will be available for sale beginning on the morning of Monday, May 13th. If you want to purchase a yearbook, be sure to make plans to arrive at the Bookstore early that day. The award-winning books sell out every year and will again this year!

Thank you to Mrs. Ankrapp, Mrs. Saltzman and our FCCLA students for creating a delicious breakfast for our 4th Quarter Leaders of the Pack and their families! The culinary students made egg casseroles, biscuits with sausage gravy, and an assortment of fruits and pastries to celebrate the eight students mentioned in the video above.
