    Centennial Meet the Teacher Night

The Centennial High School administration, teachers, and staff cordially invite you to attend Meet the Teachers Night on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 6-7 PM.

We offer this event at the start of each semester so that you can become acquainted with your student’s teachers, learn about our courses and curriculum, and partner with us to support your student’s success. Starting at 6:00 PM, you will follow your student’s schedule, beginning with first and ending with fifth period.  Each “class” will last ten minutes, with a five-minute passing period in between each. Please click here to access your students’ schedules on ParentVue or ask your student to share their schedule with you so that you know where you are going. We’ll follow the below schedule:

Around Campus

  • Thanks to all the Centennial staff members who participated in last week's Minions-themed spirit assemblies, including Mr. White, Mr. Ybarra, Mrs. Rituper, Mrs. Dunham, Mrs. Beck, Mrs. Garrigan, and Coach Taylor!

The seniors took home top honors in the assembly rollercoaster competition!

No one did pajamas day better than the moo-moo-Math Department!

Congratulations to our long-serving Cafeteria Manager Mrs. Karen Havill, who retired last week after several decades of service to Centennial and the Peoria Unified School District. You'll still see Mrs. Havill at home athletic events as she plans to continuing supporting Coyote extracurriculars.

Mrs. Kinnaman's Baking and Pastry students are learning about the seven different types of cookies and made sheet pan cookies this week, working together to demonstrate the skills they've acquired over the last few years and creating 4-in-1 cookies.
