Congratulations to the students, staff and families of Centennial High School! Our school was once again rated an A school by the Arizona Department of Education! These results can be attributed to our talented teachers, the hard work of our learners, and the support of our parents. The Arizona Department of Education's letter grade system for accountability measures our students' year to year academic growth and proficiency on the ACT and ACT Aspire tests and the AZELLA English Learner test. It also measures our graduation rate and a wide variety of college and career readiness indicators. Thank you all for helping Centennial achieve one of the Top 20 total scores in our state!Congratulations to our first quarter Leaders of the Pack, recognized in October for exemplifying Centennial's values of Honor, Integrity and Excellence: Freshmen Christian Medina and Nathaniel Linares, Sophomores Felicia Holly and Victoria Stephens, Juniors Adrian Alvarado and Hana Taylor, and Seniors Kaitlynn Tejada and Teresa Chhor. The Leader of the Pack award is Centennial's highest distinction, reserved for students who live by the values our community expects schools to promote. Our teachers nominate and our administrators select the winners. Leaders of the Pack honor others and our school, live with integrity, and pursue and celebrate excellence. Volleyball Clinches Top 8 Seed, Thursday Playoff Home Game
Congratulations to Coach Orth and Girls Volleyball! The Coyotes clinched a Top 8 seed in the 5A State Tournament and will await the results of the Tuesday play-in round to learn their first-round playoff opponent. Centennial will host the game Thursday at 6pm! Come out and support the Coyotes!
