March 31st - April 5th, 2025
On Tuesday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 2nd, Centennial will administer the ACT Aspire test to all freshmen and the ACT and Arizona Science tests to all juniors. All 10th and 12th grade students will stay home on April 1st and 2nd to complete lessons and activities using their school-issued laptops.
These assessments require our school to implement special schedules, including virtual home learning for 10th and 12th grade students and unique early release times for 9th and 11th grade students:

We have sent a separate letter to all 9th and 11th grade students and families with details for the testing dates, including regular bus pickup times, daily 6:45am breakfast availability, and bus departure times:

Letter for Junior Families
Teachers will provide sophomores and seniors assignments to complete and submit online. Because our teachers will be proctoring tests for the other grade levels on campus, they cannot provide virtual instruction. However, our 10th and 12th grade students will demonstrate their attendance via their submission of the assignments teachers provide. Freshmen and Juniors will be excused from these activities since they will be testing on both days.

Last week, Boys Volleyball celebrated its annual Player Impact Night. A little over 15 years ago, Coach Bauer began the tradition where our players each choose to honor someone from our campus who has made a positive impact on their educational experience. Coach Bauer said "Thank you to all of these amazing teachers for doing what you do…going above and beyond for these guys and so many more!"
Come out to support Baseball and Softball this week as the Coyotes host the Mustangs in important regional matchups! The Boys host first on Tuesday and the Girls host Thursday. Both games are at 3:45 and admission is free!
Join us in the Stadium this coming Saturday, April 5th for the West Valley Relay for Life! The American Cancer Society will team up with many area organizations and Centennial clubs to raise money to support cancer research and prevention in our community! The 3:30-9pm event features entertainment, food, and fun - all in support of a worthwhile cause. Join us Saturday!
