Congratulations to Mr. Ruiz and the seven Construction students who participated in last week's Skills USA State Competition! Centennial's students built all 24 of the state contestant's plumbing modules used druing the competition. Congratulations to Jason Wytcherley, who placed 2nd in plumbing, and Braeden Boone, who placed 3rd in masonry!
Check out these stunning vases made using the coiling technique during Centennial Ceramics class! Ms. Jones explains that "Each piece is built up from layers of clay, then meticulously carved to create unique textures and designs... I'm so proud of the creativity and skill our students put into these masterpieces." The Centennial Spring Art show will on campus May 8th, in the Library.
Centennial COOP had a great time celebrating Easter with two egg hunts right before break. Ms. Jackson, our Earth/Space teacher, set up a campuswide egg hunt with "planets" her class had created for one of their lessons on Wednesday and then on Thursday the COOP teachers hide eggs in the back ball field for the COOP students to find. We think the teachers had as much fun hiding the eggs as the COOP class did finding them!
